Spencer Cleary ’23

As a woodworker and student of Matt Hutton, Cleary’s work explores a combination of traditional and contemporary designs and techniques, learning methods of creating curved elements with wood through varying processes of stacked lamination. An important aspect of Cleary’s work is the explorative, organic process curves have provided, often taking a prominent role in finished work.
