Sharyn Paul Brusie ’86

I’ve been expressing myself through different forms of art as far back as I can remember. I received my BFA from MECA & D in ’86. My two strong passions in art making are painting and filmmaking. With my intense focus on painting, I’m exploring new ways to make bold marks, texture and movement. My work often combines figurative with abstraction using acrylic, oil and mixed media. I’m paying more attention to the simplicities of life and the wildness of being alive, whether in the human or animal form. The relationship of the two is something that fascinates me. I have a solo show in June of ’23.
