Hot House – inspired by COLLECT Artist Tessa Greene O’Brien MFA ‘16
- 2 oz gin
- 3/4 oz orange liquor
- 2 oz fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 1 lime wedge, squeezed and discarded
- 1-2 drops grenadine
- shake over ice, and strain into glass to serve. garnish with an orange curl
Summer Song – inspired by COLLECT Artist Lori Austill ‘85
- 1 1/4 oz vodka (or gin!)
- 3 oz grapefruit juice
- 1/4 oz blue cuaçao
- 1 lime wedge, squeezed and discarded
- prepare by salting the rim of your glass (this can be done easily by running a lime wedge around the rim, and dipping the rim into a shallow plate filled with salt)
- shake with ice and pour into glass
- garnish with a lime wedge or twist
Remembering Tomorrow – inspired by COLLECT Artist Michael Droge ‘10
- 2 lime wedges
- 2 lemon wedges, plus the juice of 1 freshly squeezed lemon
- 2 orange wedges
- fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 oz simple syrup (50/50 sugar and hot water, until sugar is dissolved. allow to cool)
- club soda or citrus seltzer (roughly 5 oz)
- add lemon juice and simple syrup to a glass and stir to mix.
- add fruit wedges, slightly squeezing into glass.
- add in fresh mint- I recommend clapping before adding to release light flavor or tearing the leaves before adding for more intense flavor.
- fill glass with ice
- top with soda or seltzer, garnish with a mint sprig and lemon wedge or twist
