Cerata Virens ’25
@ceratavirens
Cerata Virens is a ceramic artist interested in transformations, monsters, and beautifully strange forms of life. She enjoys the technical challenges and possibilities afforded by clay as a medium, which allows them to pursue the improvement of their craft alongside an intuitive and process-based method of making. Inspired by natural forms, she continues to consider questions of beauty and desire within otherness, manifesting fragmented impulses of their unconscious through surreal entities. She received her BFA from MECA&D in the spring of 2025.
