Although I live in Maine, inspiration for my work knows no geographic boundaries and varies greatly – ranging from the Gulf of Maine to rural Wyoming. Ideas come to me from the places I stumble across. Over the past year as I stayed close to home, my perspectives shifted and beauty was found in places often overlooked. My everyday world – a walk in the woods, a stroll along the beach or the architecture of the mills in Biddeford where my studio is located – has provided me with ample ideas and jumping off points for my paintings.
