I make large, frequently intricate drawings, exploring the accumulation of time. I start with a simple gesture or mark and repeat it over and over, building a pattern, letting elements like medium and my relative level of attentiveness influence the formation of the image. Eventually these ideas/images are further developed and refined via etching or relief printing.
