Valerie McCaffrey ’86
The theme of consciousness, in all its various forms, intrigues me. While working on the “Flow,” series of plaques, I consciously–decided that I would emphasizing the flowing, non-narrative side of my mind. It is deeply satisfying to have a physical expression of that process. I love exploring ancient non-dual philosophy and I am grateful to have art making as a tool to explore and share my perspective as well as to keep me grounded in the present.
