Shirah Neumann MFA ’12
Shirah Neumann is a painter interested in place, stories, myth, longing, and the poetics of daily life. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions at the Jewish Community of Amherst, ICA Portland ME, the Portland Public Library, Aucocisco Gallery, and Falmouth Museums on the Green among others nationally from Massachusetts, Buffalo and Chicago to Los Angeles. Neumann holds an MFA in Studio Art from Maine College of Art and a BFA in Painting & Drawing from California State University, Long Beach, and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. She lives in Shutesbury, Massachusetts.
