Philip Brou

Philip Brou is an artist and educator based in South Portland, Maine. He currently serves as Chair of Painting and Professor of Foundation and Painting at Maine College of Art & Design. The works included in this year’s Collect exhibition depict, from direct observation, places close to home and frequented by the artist. They are a meditative practice focused on being present.
