Natalie Reed Fine Jewelry ’13
I grew up on Vinalhaven, a small island off the coast of Maine. I am greatly influenced by lobstering, the ocean and all the colors and textures that they encompass. In my jewelry I reference the natural forms that grow there using precious metals and gems. Carving and casting are the primary techniques used in my work, allowing me to highlight those delicate and beautiful details I find in nature.
