For as poppy and colorful as my pieces may be, I always think of them as quiet and still. A passing moment filled with life. I have been thinking a lot about the nature of memory and thought as I have been making new work. My artistic mission right now is to take small steps toward painting again after a long hiatus from practicing art. A native New Englander, I currently reside in Austin TX where I live with my wife Natalie (whom I met at MECA&D) and our cat Rori. We often reflect on the amazing experiences we had in Portland and look for excuses to move back often, especially at the height of Texas Summer.
