Katherine Noble Churchill
Katherine Noble Churchill was born in Maine in 1973. She enjoys hiking and dressage (horseback riding) and has an art studio in Bar Harbor. She graduated with a B.S. degree in Pre-veterinary Science from University of Maine; her knowledge of science and anatomy informs her paintings and enthusiasm for art theory. Her paintings are a combination of impressionism and painterly realism reflecting both local and surreal colors of landscapes and animals. She experiments in studio work, plein-air painting, and welcomes commissions of seascapes, boats, and equine art. She is an associate member of the American Academy of Equine Art and American Impressionist Society.
