Kat Miller ’19
Kat Miller is a photographer from Portland, Maine. She uses a large format view camera to construct her narratives. Her current ongoing body of work examines the inherent cosmic bond all beings share and a desire to embrace different energies surrounding us. Miller’s photographs are not only forever scarred on a sheet of film, they are stored within the energy of souls connecting together through the photographic process. The camera acts as a portal, a door into memories of magic from past and future. She paints with light and vision, finding raw and romantic beauty in the landscape. These photographs are a key in unlocking the deep connection humans are lacking. They are the memories of a forgotten sublime nature.
