Judith Schneider MFA ’14
Judith Schneider is a painter and printmaker. She received her Master’s degree in Studio Art from MECA in May, 2014. She is a member of the Peregrine Press. “I investigate place and memory through the landscape. I am interested in abstracted landscape painting and printmaking as ways of mapping time in a non-linear fashion. I am in visual pursuit of what is physically present, woven with memory, dreams and how the energy of “place” is conveyed. Reconsidering conventional modes of representation, I continue to reevaluate pictorial narrative and focus on the structure of time.” Judy has recently shown in CMCA’s online exhibit SHELTER (EARTH, HOUSE, BODY, SPIRIT), and ART2021 at the Harlow.
