Grace Hager ’15

Grace Hager is an observational painter living and working in shoreline Connecticut. She received her BFA in Painting with a Minor in Art History from Maine College of Art in 2015, and will be returning to MECA this summer to begin her MFA in Studio Art. Grace paints from observation of assembled still life composed of collected objects, found textiles, houseplants, cut flowers, or other natural subjects brought into the studio. Her work combines a love of color and pattern with a strong connection to Nature as a source of balance, knowledge, and contemplation. Her paintings are oil on cradled panel, signed and dated on the reverse, and are ready to hang with a wire.
