Formal art education happened through foundational skill building as a child, my college years, and honing my skills at the Art Student’s League in New York City. My greatest lessons come from the many decades of soul-filled lived experiences. In 1977, I built a small cabin and lived a self-sufficient, off-the-grid lifestyle for eight years. I learned to live in a respectful interconnected manner with Nature. Worldwide journeys have taken me to earth-based cultures to understand how they convey spiritual beliefs into everyday life. My sculptures/installations are portals into understanding our earthly and cosmic existence. They are celebrations of the Great Mystery of our Being and the responsibility to protect what is Sacred.
