Pia Paulina Guilmoth ’15
Pia Paulina Guilmoth lives and makes art in rural central maine. She uses a 4×5 film camera, and other experimental analog processes to create a love note to transgender, rural, and working class people and the varied, fluid relationships we share with land. Her recent project charts the path from her gender transition from pre to post-HRT. She makes work about beauty and escape, resistance and safety in a culture often at odds with these practices.
