Cresting Wave, made of wire, abaca paper pulp and shellac, is a sculptural vessel that was made as an ode to the ocean. The movement captured in the form is reminiscent of the push and pull of the ocean and takes inspiration from afternoons spent watching the power of the water.

Artwork pickup will be offered at Maine College of Art Design's back entrance (83 Free Street, Portland ME) on Wednesday, June 28, 10am -3pm, Thursday, June 29, 10am -3pm, Friday, June 30, 2pm - 6pm.
