Olivia Propeck is from North Dakota and is currently living in Portland, Maine. She is a ceramic artist who earned her BFA at the Maine College of Art & Design in 2024. Propeck’s upbringing in the Midwest did not provide much representation of what a queer home could look like, so her work materializes the quieter moments of her own sapphic intimate relationships, domestic space, and her memory. Through illustrative ceramics, she focuses on bringing queer experiences, objects, and spaces physically closer to the viewer, bridging the emotional gap that can exist in a heteronormative society.
