Ken Kraft
I am a retired financial executive. When it comes to my art, I consider myself a renaissance man. Over the last 40+ years my interests have shifted from ceramics, to stain glass, to printmaking, to encaustics, to marbling, to monoprinting on silk. The common theme is my use and exploration of color. I have been inspired by this quote from artist Edvard Munch: “Colors live a remarkable life of their own after they have been applied to the canvas”. I can honestly say that he was right.
