My life as an artist began not with a paintbrush, but with ballet slippers. When a rare medical condition forced me to step away from the stage, I sought a new medium to convey my voice. I traded the movement of dance for the stillness of a painter’s canvas, yet found that, like dance, art is able to speak directly to the emotions and experiences that shape us. My work often stems from autobiographical themes, exploring personal trauma, bodily autonomy, and life experiences. I blend technical realism with emotional and psychological depth, using dreamlike imagery, color, and composition to reflect subconscious emotional resonance.
