Vanessa White-Capelluti

Vanessa White-Capelluti is a multi-discipline artist and retired national board-certified art teacher. Raised in upstate NY and central Indiana, she earned a BS with honors from Indiana University, and a MS with honors from Massachusetts College of Art. Having lived in Maine for 40+ years, she now resides in South Portland. Her areas of interest include painting, photography and ceramics. “I am interested in exploring the energy that occurs from observing the interaction of color, shape, space and pattern. My landscapes focus on natural settings, cityscapes, and waterfront images, and I enjoy arranging carefully curated objects to create playful still life images.”
