Shoshannah White

Shoshannah White is an interdisciplinary artist dividing time between Maine and New Mexico. Her practice includes photography, painting, sculpture and public art installation and is often informed by concerns of the environment. Her work has been exhibited at institutions including the Roswell Museum, Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Maine Jewish Museum, Dickinson, Bates and Bowdoin College Museums and at the Eastman House. She’s received awards through Berkshire Taconic, Maine Arts Commission and Space Gallery’s Kindling Fund. She’s completed artist residencies in the United States, Canada and Norway. Shoshannah’s been a visiting artist at institutions including Bowdoin and Dickinson Colleges and at Harvard University’s Research Forest. Her work is represented by Corey Daniels in Maine, Richard Levy in New Mexico.
