Jimmy Viera is a painter and printmaker born in Dartmouth, MA. He currently lives and works in Portland, ME. He received his BFA in Printmaking from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2014, where he was awarded the 2D Department’s Award for Excellence. Viera has shown work at Buoy, Gallery 57, Tia/Nacul Gallery, Baklar Gallery, and Space, among others. He also curated Periscope at Able Baker Contemporary in 2017. In 2016, Viera helped co-found the New England Art Book Fair which, in it’s four years, has showcased book makers from across the country to thousands of visitors.
