I earned an undergraduate degree in studio art from Middlebury College and a Master of Architecture from MIT. I have worked as a solo licensed Maine architect. since the 1980’s. I am intrigued by the community nature of design work, and I have always done a range of personal color and line work on paper. Over the past decade I have focused my studio practice on watercolor painting, collage, and printmaking. I am working on series of large paintings and monotype/hand worked prints at Peregrine Press. All of my abstract works are interpretations of the natural and built forms, light and colors which I encounter on my walks and travels.
