Christina Davis ’87
Christina Davis is a landscape painter based in Maine, using oil, acrylic and pastel mediums. She paints in plein air as well as in her studio. The process of painting landscapes brings freedom of expression and movement for the artist. The focus of her work is in highlighting the power of nature in juxtaposition to human influence. Envisioning a finished piece will dictate to the artist which medium she should select to breathe life into a painting. Art enriches many aspects of her life. Christina has a BFA in Painting from Portland School of Art, now MECA&D. Casco Bay Artisans located in Portland currently has some of her paintings on view in their gallery.
