Anna Dennis Dibble
Anna Dibble is a visual artist currently living in North Freeport, Maine. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries and museums for over forty years. In 2020 her work was shown in an exhibit at the Portland Museum of Art, and she has work in their collection. She’s represented in Maine by Cynthia Winings Gallery, Blue Hill, Gallery B, Castine, and George Marshall Store Gallery, York, among others. Her current series of contemporary landscapes -‘Requiem’ – is based in an imaginary world, influenced by human’s lost connection with what we call Nature, and what has occurred because of this. It’s about how all of us, from plankton to primate, are lost in many ways, searching for something elusive.
