After decades of studying and working in the fields of archaeology and history, and raising a family, I took up painting about eleven years ago. Since then I have taken a number of Continuing Studies classes at MECA&D in painting and drawing, both in person and, lately on line with Diane Dahlke and Adeline Goldminc-Tronzo. I also study one on one on-line with Adeline and at her studio in Eliot, Maine, when that’s feasible. I have taken several classes en plein air with Adeline, painting in Maine, New Hampshire and Provence, France. My work is representational but I considers it to be an interpretation of what I see. I moved to Maine in 1981, lived for more than thirty years in Yarmouth, and now live in Portland with my husband.
