Aileen Agnew

I am an oil painter currently living in Portland. I started painting about fifteen years ago and have been taking continuing education classes at MECA&D ever since. I prefer to paint from life but often paint from photographs as well. My painting is representational, but I view my work as an interpretation of what I see, and not a precise depiction of the scene or object.
